Ingredients

The only optional ingredients are nuts and Almond milk.

• ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature (Do not melt or they will be flat)

• ¾ cup packed dark brown sugar

• ¾ cup sugar

• 2 large eggs, room temperature - (Don't use cold eggs)

• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (We use pure vanilla from Mexico)

• 12 ounces chocolate chips

• ¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

• 1 cup almond milk (or regular whole milk)

Directions

1. Preheat to 375°F

2. Line baking pan with parchment paper.

3. In a large bowl, add the butter, sugars and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Then add your eggs to the mix one at a time.

4. Bake until the cookies have golden edges. Remove the cookies from the oven and set them in a baking rack for 10 minutes.
