There above the Grand Canyon I put my faith in a 3" thick pain of glass as I lay my back looking up to the sky. It is an amazing view of Eagle point in the west end of Grand Canyon. If you have a fear of heights this is not for you. If your an adrenaline junky then I highly recommend you visit Grand Canyon West. It's not part of the Grand Canyon National Park, it's owned and operated by a collective of native Americans who have made some significant contributions in showing off this beautiful canyon. The Sky Walk was a costly investment that has paid off. We were fortunate that we went early in the day before it became busy which I did not expect being it was winter and it was a Wednesday, but as we were leaving the line to get on the bus to go to the Sky Walk was at least a 30 to 40 minute wait, so if you do plan to see this magnificent place plan accordingly.

As you can see I was more comfortable sitting there but I did lean over and became very comfortable even with the wind that was blowing that day. While there is more to see and do here, like the zip line and a few other view points and trails, the Grand Canyon National Park has a lot more viewing and hiking options not mention food options. But this Sky Walk is worth the time and money. Yep that's a genuine happy Greg Skywalker!

The Sky Walk is located at Eagle Point in the Grand Canyon. Hopefully you can spot the Eagle with its wings spread. Draw you eye towards the center bush then look up at the ridge line. This view is amazing and not many views of the Grand Canyon impress me more than this one.
On one of the trails at Guano Point you get another amazing view of the canyon and the Colorado River. From this viewpoint you will likely see many helicopters flying in the canyon. They offer helicopter rides from the park, it's amazing how low they get into the canyon. Our tour guide told us about a lot of things that we did not know, including what the definition of Guano is, I thought for sure he was joking, but on hike to the point I found this and sure enough it is bat shit that they mined from this point. See for yourself...
