Lake Havasu for New Years

We arrived at Islanders RV Resort at 1:30 pm on Saturday, December 30th to spend New Years and ring in 2024. We had some maintenance done on the bus and wanted to be sure she was ready for our big journey which is just 25 days away. We are so excited, everything is in working order and we have a great view of the lake from our coach.

With both of us under the weather from a cold we received as a Christmas bonus gift from our granddaughter we were not that energetic so mostly just did some walks and did a fair amount of relaxing in the coach looking at the lake. The water was calm most of the time, we had very little wind and enjoyed sitting outside a lot during the day.

The resort is in excellent condition and very clean. We had a pull-in lake view site, with full hookups so life was good. The lot is mostly gravel with paved roads and a large concrete patio with a picnic table. A lot of full-timers here, but they all keep their units in really good condition.
