I worked for over 25 years at the Las Vegas Valley Water District which had a Desert Demonstrations Garden and the Springs Preserve, but this is garden is on a whole different level. We did not have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. If you're in Phoenix AZ you should take the opportunity and time to visit this place, its located in Papago Park north of Tempe and south of Scottsdale. The Zoo and some nice hiking trails are also in this park so you can easily spend a day here. Nice place! Great time to visit is in the winter months when it is cooler.
