I know what you're thinking, but before you judge you need to read the kids book "The Good Dragon at the Center of the World" to know why this is the "official" center of the word. The facility is in the town of Felicity CA, population of 12, elevation of 22 feet. It is NOT the geographical center of the earth/world, to learn more about that location read this article from Wikipedia. However, if it is a nice day and you have some time to kill, there are a lot of slates of granite with some history on them. This place is really a journey through the history of humanity in granite. New slates granite of history is added every year. There are also several memorials and a couple of odd things like one section of the spiral staircase from the Eiffel tower, section 16 if my memory is correct. I dubbed it as the stairway to heaven, my favorite song from Led Zepplin. A cool sun dial made from the arm of Michelangelo's arm of God, which points true North and to a Chruch at the top of a hill.
